Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a child. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the next decade, she moved in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met at an actor'sworkshop held located in Los Angeles. They were engaged in 2009 and married in a civil ceremony in December of that year. They renewed their vows on on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with an Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the joyous announcement that she became pregnant while filming season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the premiere. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the set of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show on social media.
