Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name can be spelled as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from music blogs as well as the press. She's recorded a variety of well-known covers, such as Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that were widely appreciated. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry announced her new song Runaway. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding an attic piano and becoming enthralled by the music it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to do music just for fun or for the sake of development but instead, she should explore it. For this reason, she began writing original compositions. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her favorite writers. Her mom encouraged her to play her music in front of the public, but not in order to gain fame but rather in order to show others the importance of their work and the good they do for the world. She started playing piano when she was just six and started writing songs at the age of nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family until she reached the age of fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. According to her, she likes to write songs. For her, music is the best method of feeling anything.
